The band will be reaching into their sack to give away some goodies...
UK The Futureheads fans are in for at treat when the SUNDERLAND outfit head out on their British tour next month.
Speaking to NME.COM after their sold out show at the Los Angeles Troubadour on Saturday night (November 20), frontman Barry Hyde said the band have a special giveaway made up of remixes of their tracks ‘Decent Days And Nights’, backed with ‘Meantime’, for concert goers on the upcoming trek.
“We’re going to get a thousand seven inches. Were going to give them away to the first 100 people that come to every gig,” he said. “We’re just going to give them as a token, because the last time we played in Newcastle at Christmas, we recorded ‘Hounds Of Love’ in our rehearsal room and gave that away to everyone that was there.”
Having just wrapped up their second ever US tour last night in San Diego , Hyde said the band are looking forward to heading home for some more headlining gigs.
“I can’t wait for that. We’re playing a big show in Newcastle which will be great and a big show in London and all the shows are selling out,” he said.
The Sunderland outfit say they are most looking forward to their homecoming show December 1 where things will be a family affair.
“My 70 year-old grandmother will be there. She loves us,” Hyde said. “Everyone’s [coming] — cousins, aunties, uncles. It’ll be great. I can’t wait. All the pets are coming [too]. I’ll bring me goldfish.”
