Futureheads form Christmas supergroup

And it's for a good cause

The Futureheads, Field Music, The Golden Virgins and Kathryn Williams have joined forces to form a new band for a Christmas album.

The pals have teamed up as The Joseph & Mary Chain for a version of ‘The Twelve Days Of Christmas’. The track will appear on a compilation LP ‘It’s Not Like Christmas’.

All the profits from album sales will go directly to support the work of the charity Shelter in preventing the damage that bad housing causes and trying to ensure that as many people as possible have suitable, decent and affordable homes.

Other artists appearing on the record include Duke Special, Duels and The Electric Soft Parade.

‘It’s Not Like Christmas’ is available now as a digital download from the iTunes Music Store, with a general release on December 13.
