The Gaslight Anthem are set to release a B-sides collection at the start of 2014.
The New Jersey rock band will put out ‘The B-Sides’ on January 28, 2014, according to a post on Amazon.com. Vinyl Collective writes that the record will feature acoustic versions of ‘The ’59 Sound’, ‘American Slang’, ‘Boxer’ and ‘Great Expectations’, as well as their cover version of The Rolling Stones‘ ‘Tumbling Dice’ and a live take on Pearl Jam’s ‘State of Love and Trust’. The Gaslight Anthem have said that they will also be releasing a new studio album in 2014. Writing on their Tumblr earlier this year, the band said they were: “Working on new songs for a new Gaslight Anthem album in 2014. Dig it. Tour’s been great, Brian’s very pleased he hasn’t has many photos of him taken. He’s busy in the back of the bus writing new songs, something about Bob Dylan and Led Zepplin [sic] and Neil Young in the same band.”
The Gaslight Anthem released their fourth studio album, ‘Handwritten’, in 2012.
