The Horrors pull second NME tour show

Faris Rotter and co's road woes continue

The Horrors have cancelled their second Shockwaves NME Awards Indie Rock Tour show, this time tonight (February 11) in Sheffield Octagon.

The band pulled last night’s gig in Cardiff after drummer Coffin Joe was struck down with bronchitis. NME.COM understands they will play tomorrow in Reading, though at present it isn’t clear if their drummer will be fit or if a substitute will be drafted in.

The remaining three bands on the bill, The Automatic, The View and Mumm-Ra will all play tonight.

It has been an eventful few days for The Horrors. Frontman Faris Rotter was hospitalised on Wednesday night (February 7), after injuring himself during the Birmingham Carling Academy gig.

The singer gashed his leg after climbing a speaker stack and was forced to spend several hours in A&E.
