FLOWERS ENTHUSIASTICALLY RECEIVED IN DUBLIN!

The band desribe the show as "one of the best ever"...

The Killers

opened the first of their final brief British and Irish tour of 2004 in DUBLIN last night (November 11) with a show the band described as “one of the best ever”.

The four-piece ripped through an ecstatically received 50- minute set at the Olympia Theatre. Such was the reaction to the band’s big live moments ‘Mr Brightside’, ‘All These Things That I’ve Done’, ‘Somebody Told Me’ and ‘Jenny Was A Friend Of Mine’ that The Killers were frequently drowned out by the singalong crowd.

“Ireland’s just blown us away. It was great,” frontman Brandon Flowers told NME.COM after the show.

“It was one of our best shows ever, we got one of the best reactions – just incredible,” added bassist Mark Stoermer.

The Killers play Manchester Academy tonight before moving to London Shepherds Bush Empire tomorrow (November 13).
