Luke Pritchard's mob will play their only UK festival show at Oxfordshire festival

The Kooks have announced that they will be headlining Harvest Festival, the new bands and food bash set up by Blur bassist Alex James.

The event, which James is hosting from September 9-12 at his farm in Kingham, Chipping Norton, already has confirmed appearances from Eliza Doolittle, The Feeling and KT Tunstall.

Harvest will be The Kooks only UK festival appearance of the summer, but they have already confirmed an extensive UK tour for October. The band have also confirmed that their third album ‘The Junk Of The Heart’, will come out on September 12.

James has previously said that as well as music, Harvest will feature cookery master classes, pop-up restaurants, gardening workshops and a farmers’ market.

He said of the event: “We’ll throw open the farm gates for Harvest this September. My family are looking forward to a celebration of all our favourite things – food, the farm and music. What more could we ask for?”
