Alex Turner and Miles Kane release second album 'Everything You’ve Come to Expect' this week

The Last Shadow Puppets have played their new track ‘Miracle Aligner’ in an acoustic live session.

The duo – comprising of Arctic Monkeys’ Alex Turner and collaborator Miles Kane – recently shared the new song from their upcoming second album ‘Everything You’ve Come to Expect’, which will be released this Friday (April 1). They premiered ‘Miracle Aligner’ during their recent appearance on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 radio show.

The pair also discussed the recording of their follow-up to 2008’s ‘The Age of the Understatement’ on Beats 1. Watch a snippet from the interview below.

Speaking of his approach to singing on the duo’s new record, Turner told Lowe: “I was reaching for something vocally that I hadn’t done so before.”

The Last Shadow Puppets continue their European tour in Paris this evening (March 29) before heading to Brighton, London, Liverpool and Sheffield. Turner and Kane return for additional headline dates in June and July.
