The band have a very special guest at a charity show in London...
THE LIBERTINES were joined onstage by CLASH legend MICK JONES at a charity show in LONDON last night.
The band headlined a Love Music Hate Racism gig at the London Astoria (March 16).
Also on the bill for the event were Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster and Miss Black America and The Others.
The event, inspired by the Rock Against Racism movement of the late ‘70s – originally supported by Buzzcocks (who also played a set last night) and Clash, saw Jones come on stage and play guitar for four songs, ’Scag And Bone Man’, ’Time For Heroes’, What Katie Did’ and a cover of ’Should I Stay Or Should I Go’.
Jones and the band are close, with the Clash star having produced sessions for their debut album ’Up The Bracket’.
