The under pressure band regroup... and call in a legendary friend to help
Despite recent well publicised troubles and Pete Doherty’s ongoing time in rehab, The Libertines are set to put on a united front with the launch of a new club night next week.
The band’s Carl Barat will launch ‘Dirty Pretty Things’ on June 7 at Infinity in Old Burlington Street, London.
Clash legend and Libertines producer Mick Jones will join Barat on decks on the opening night, as will Libertines bassist John Hassall. There will also be live appearances from The Boxer Rebellion and Special Needs.
Doors are at 10.30pm, tickets cost £8 and you’re advised to get along early to beat the crush.
