After two no-shows, the estranged Libertines star finally makes it to the stage...
After two no-shows this week, PETE DOHERTY got himself together to turn up for a gig in BRISTOL last night.
The estranged Libertines singer left fans in London disappointed on two consecutive nights, when he failed to appear for scheduled solo appearances.
However, last night’s gig at the Bristol Louisiana (August 4) went ahead as planned.
One fan at the show told NME.COM: “Pete was so friendly to everyone and had all the time in the world to talk to his fans, allow photos and sign things. I had a little chat, thanked him for coming to Bristol and told him that are a lot of us that are rooting for him and to ignore the negative shit that people are portraying – at which point he administered a kiss to the side of my head.”
During the performance, Doherty played a number of Libertines songs, and at the end of the gig went up to a balcony and sang to the crowds leaving outside the venue.
