Collaborations on new album with Terry Hall and Baby Bird...

THE LIGHTNING SEEDS have announced details their new album, which is to coincide with a full UK tour in December, climaxing with a New Year’s Eve performance at Cream2000 in Liverpool.

The album, titled ‘Tilt’, will be released on November 22 and has been described by insiders as “fantastic pop music”, with more emphasis on psychedelic sounds and loops. ‘Tilt’ features collaborations with Terry Hall, Stephen ‘Baby Bird’ Jones and Mike Pickering has written the lyrics for one track, ‘Get It Right’, which features the lines: “And they love me in the press / Cos I’m constantly depressed / I’ll come back when I decide / Overweight and twice the size / I’ve been caring less and less / Since my overnight success.”

Following the release of their album, the Lightning Seeds then embark on a December tour starting at Preston Guildhall on December 1.
