Band offer up the first taste of 'Given To The Wild'
The Maccabees have unveiled their new single ‘Pelican’, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click to hear the track.
The track is the first to be taken from the Brighton band’s third studio album ‘Given To The Wild’, which is due for release on January 9. The band have revealed that they were influenced by “disparate musical peers” such as The Stone Roses, Kate Bush and David Bowie during the creation of the album.
The Maccabees will tour the UK in January in support of the album, playing five shows, these kick off in Glasgow at Queen Margaret’s Union on January 23 and run until January 28, when the band will play Manchester‘s HMV Ritz.
