The Offspring have revealed that they have finished recording their new studio album.

The record, which is the ninth of the band’s career, is the follow-up to their 2008 effort ‘Rise And Fall, Rage And Grace’ and their first album with new drummer Pete Parada.

The band confirmed they had completed work on the album on their official Facebook page Facebook.com/Offspring, with frontman Dexter Holland writing: “Leaving the studio in Hollywood now. The record is finished.”

The California punks have not indicated when the record is likely to be released or what it will be titled. Only one song title has been revealed, with a track titled ‘You Will Find A Way’ set to feature on the record.

The band are set to tour this summer, with their festival appearances set to include Rock In Rio festival in Portugal, Punkspring festival in Japan and Denmark’s Skive festival.

The Offspring have yet to confirm any UK shows – they were last in the UK to appear at last summer’s Reading And Leeds Festivals.
