POLYPHONIC SPREE NOT HANGING AROUND!

The 23-strong robed outfit leave 679 - but are pressing on with the recording of their second LP....

CARLING WEEKEND headliners Polyphonic Spree have been dropped by their record label.

The 23-strong robed outfit have been let go by 679 Recordings, who released their 2002 debut album ‘The Beginning Stages Of….’.

However, according to the band’s official spokesperson, they are preparing a new deal and a second album is on schedule to be released next February.

The spokesperson said: “They are out of contract with 679. They are finishing mixing the new album in Dallas at the moment with Rich Costey for a February release. They are currently in discussions with various parties who are interested in releasing the record and we hope to announce full details for the album very soon.”
