'Love Is All' will be released dto coincide with the NME Awards Tour...

Rapture have confirmed final details of the next single to be taken from their debut album ‘ECHOES’.

The punk-funkers are to release a new version of ‘Love Is All’ on February 9 – re-recorded recently in New York with veteran producer Steve Lillywhite (U2, Morrissey, Rapture). The new version also features band member Gabriel Andruzzi, unlike the original.

The single will be backed by album track ‘I Need Your Love’, which has also been remixed by Ewan Pearson. A special limited edition 7″ of ‘I Need Your Love’/’Love Is All’ will be released on red vinyl on the same day.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs have also teamed up with Patrick Daughters for the video to ‘Love Is All’ – the director who most recent work was the Rapture’ promo for ‘Maps’. The video features footage of the band’s recent three-night residency at New York’s Bowery Ballroom. Daughters is currently working on a special one-hour documentary made from the Bowery shows, due to be released in the near future.

‘Love Is All’ also marks Yeah Yeah Yeahs‘s inclusion on the NME Awards tour, due to kick off on January 25 at Newcastle Northumbria University. The band will be joined on the bill by Von Bondies, Franz Ferdinand and [a][/a].
