Keith Richards shares video for solo track ‘Trouble’ via Apple Music – watch

Rolling Stones guitarist releasing first solo album in 23 years 'Crosseyed Heart' during September

The Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards has shared a clip for his new solo single ‘Trouble’.

‘Trouble’ is taken from ‘Crosseyed Heart’, Richards’ first solo album in 23 years. The 15 track effort will be released on September 18, following 1992’s ‘Main Offender’ and 1988’s ‘Talk Is Cheap’.

The track’s accompanying video was recently shared via Apple’s new streaming service, Apple Music. The clip sees Richards performing the track in a studio setting.

The upcoming record will feature contributions from The Rolling Stones’ late saxophonist Bobby Keys, who died in December 2014. A press release states that the record was inspired by reggae, rock, country and the blues.

“I had a ball making this new record and working with [drummer] Steve Jordan and [guitarist] Waddy Wachtel again,” Richards said in a recent statement. “There’s nothing like walking into a studio and having absolutely no idea what you’re going to come out with on the other end.”

Meanwhile, Keith Richards recently stated that he was “ready” to record The Rolling Stones’ next album.

“Funny you should mention [recording]” Richards said to Rolling Stone recently. “Just last week, the word ‘studio’ popped up while we were rehearsing. I said, ‘Well, let’s find a time. I’m ready’.”

The Rolling Stones last released an album in 2005 in the form of ‘A Bigger Bang’.
