The Rolling Stones headline to Isle Of Wight Festival

Mick and Keith are set for Sunday night

The Rolling Stones have confirmed their headlining spot on the Sunday (June 10) night at the Isle Of Wight Festival 2007, as first revealed by NME.COM in February.

The band’s first festival appearance in over 30 years was officially confirmed to Music Week today (March 20).

The last time the group played a UK festival was at the Knebworth Fair in August 1976, with the likes of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Todd Rundgren and 10cc.
