Rolling Stones joined by grunge icon

A very special duet takes place in Pittsburgh

Pearl Jam singer Eddie Vedder made a surprise appearance onstage with The Rolling Stones this week.

The grunge veterans were supporting the Stones at the PNC Stadium in Pittsburgh on Wednesday (September 28), but their support slot was not the last that fans saw of him.

Vedder joined Mick Jagger on vocals for their rendition of ‘Wild Horses’, according to the Reuters news service.

Pearl Jam previously supported the band on their 1997 ‘Bridges To Babylon’ tour, a jaunt which saw Vedder join the band for ‘Waiting On A Friend’.

The Rolling Stones are have just started their world tour in support of their new album ‘A Bigger Bang’.
