Stones give money to 26 who were killed
The Rolling Stones have donated a portion of the proceeds from their concert in Warsaw on July 25 in memory of the 26 locals killed in a bus crash earlier that week.
The bus crash happened last Sunday (July 22) in the French Alps and was carrying 50 people back to Poland after a visit to a Catholic shrine, with 26 people were killed and 24 were injured.
Their show began shortly before the official end of three days of mourning declared by Polish President Lech Kaczynski.
In addition The Rolling Stones and promoters donating and undisclosed share other concert’s proceeds to victim’s families, while Mick Jagger asked the crowd to bserve a minute’s silence during the show, reports The Rock Radio.
