Hear brand new Rumble Strips and Mark Ronson material now

Band release New York studio footage

The Rumble Strips have released video footage taken in New York recently during the recording of the forthcoming second album, which has been produced by Mark Ronson.

The footage, which you can see below, sees the band discussing the record and playing new song ‘Douglas’.

Speaking about the new album in the video, frontman Charlie Waller said, “The last one [2007’s ‘Girls And Weather’] was true to our live sound at the time – this time Mark‘s got a much wider vision of what it could be.

“It was more of a blank slate this time, we hadn’t really played the songs live much, they were demos. Mark had this real vision of making this classic-sounding, sort of a ’60s sound – it was so different to how we’d ever sounded before.”
