Reformed Manchester band will play Spanish festival next July
The Stone Roses have confirmed their first festival dates after announcing their reformation last month.
The Manchester band are the first confirmed headliner for next year’s Benicassim, which is due to take place July 12-15, 2012. They will also headline Scotland’s T In The Park, which takes place the weekend before, July 6-8.
Commenting on the Benicassim booking, festival boss Vince Power said:
We’re really happy to announce The Stone Roses to headline FIB, this is really exciting on all fronts, I’ve had a long history with The Stone Roses since they formed and I’m really looking forward to having them back at FIB to watch, no doubt, an incredible performance.
Four day tickets for the Spanish festival, which are priced at €165, are available from Fiberfib.com. To check the availability of The Stone Roses tickets and get all the latest listings, go to NME.COM/TICKETS now, or call 0871 230 1094.
