The Stooges extend tour

They add European festivals and US dates

The Stooges have added several dates to their forthcoming tour.

Iggy Pop and the gang will now begin their April dates with a show at Washington DC’s 9:30 Club on April 5, and play several European festivals including Switzerland’s Neuchatel Open Air Festival on June 1, Sweden’s Peace and Love on June 30, and Spain’s Benicassim Festival on July 19.

They’ll wrap up at Norway’s Open Air Festival on July 21.

Although not officially confirmed, they are thought to be headlining the Other Stage at the Glastonbury Festival on June 23.

The band recently made a splash at Austin’s South By Southwest Festival and plan to continue their run supporting their recent album, ‘The Weirdness’, their first album in 34 years.
