Mike Skinner freestyles into 'Over And Over'

The Streets covered Hot Chip‘s ‘Over and Over’ during their gig at Edinburgh‘s Liquid Rooms last night (July 27).

Mike Skinner freestyled a line from the song during a medley of ‘Has It Come To This?’, ‘Weak Become Heroes’ and ‘Blinded By The Lights’.

Playing an all-hits set, Skinner told NME.COM why he wouldn’t be playing any new songs during the Scottish dates.

He said: “Originally I was going to try out new songs but my album’s only going to come out next year now. But the tour’s wicked.”

Their headlining set was the fourth date his mini-Scottish tour featuring acts from Skinner‘s The Beats label – Professor Green, Neon, Example and The Mitchell Brothers.

Earlier, Skinner joined The Mitchell Brothers on stage wearing a Michael Jackson mask for a version of new track ‘Michael Jackson’, spoofing his moves along the way.

During the encore – a rendition of The Streets remix of The Twang‘s ‘Either Way’– the other acts joined him onstage for a mass singalong.
