Duo will follow-up last years' debut LP in May
Former The Streets man Mike Skinner has announced details of a new The DOT album – his new project with ex-The Music singer Rob Harvey.
The pair, who only released their debut LP in October last year (2012) will put out their second album ‘Diary’ on May 6. A single, ‘How We All Lie’, which you can watch the video of below, will be released on March 4.
Speaking about the track, Mike Skinner said in a statement: “‘How We All Lie’ was written in a very traditional way, apart from the MPC drum machine that started it all off. There are a lot of references to the football section of the newspapers that day, because it fit with the theme of the way we have to lie to reassure ourselves that we are part of society.”
The tracklisting for ‘Diary’ is as follows:
‘Make It Your Own’
‘Don’t Look At The Road’
‘Blood, Sweat And Tears’
‘How We All Lie’
‘Under A Ladder’
‘Left At The Lights’
‘Wherever You May Be’
‘Most Of My Time’
‘What Am I supposed To Do?’
‘How Hard Can It Be?’
The Streets and The Music both brought the curtain down on their 10-year careers in 2011.
