Band kick off their whistle-stop tour with exclusive TV appearance

The Strokes are kicking off their lightening strike tour of Britain tonight (November 27).

Beginning their week of activities in London, the band will appear on this evening’s Top Of The Pops (BBC2, 7pm) performing their forthcoming single ‘Juicebox’.

The group are then set to play a tiny club show at ULU on Tuesday (November 29), tickets for which go on sale from the venue’s box office at 9am tomorrow morning (November 28) either in person or via 0870 060 3793.

A second intimate show at a secret location is planned for Friday (December 2) and will be broadcast on MTV.

The band’s single ‘Juicebox’ is released on December 5, meanwhile a full UK tour is planned for early next year, see next week’s NME out nationwide on November 30 for details.
