'12:51' goes into the Top Ten, but there's no stopping the Black Eyed Peas...

THE STROKES have scored their biggest UK hit ever with their comeback single ’12:51’.

The track, the first to be lifted from their new album ’Room On Fire’, was a new entry at Number Seven in the UK singles chart.

Other new entries inside the Top Ten this week come from Texas featuring Kardinal Offishall with ‘Carnival GIrl’ at Number Nine and the Fast Food Rockers’ with ’Say Cheese (Smile Please)’ at Number Ten.

The highest new entry comes from Beyonce featuring Sean Paul with ’Baby Boy’ at Number Two, but even that isn’t enough to stop Black Eyed Peas spending a sixth week at the top with
