THE STROKES ‘EXPLAIN’ ALL!

THE STROKES will kick off their first full UK and Ireland tour, starting in June, and will also release new single ‘HARD TO EXPLAIN’ to coincide with the dates, NME.COM can reveal.

The lauded New York five-piece will kick off 16 dates in Brighton on June 10, rounding up in London on June 28. Though no final date has been set for the single release, it will come in late June. The single is backed by live favourite ‘New York City Cops’.

The Strokes recently signed to RCA Records for the world excluding the UK, where they’ll remain with Rough Trade.

The band are currently in the studio finishing off their debut album. It is provisionally slated for a late-August release.

In addition to the UK dates, The Strokes will play every Wednesday in May in Philadelphia, PA.
