Irish four-piece play mammoth set at Shepherd's Bush Empire

The Strypes returned to London for an NME Awards show, with Austin Texas last night (February 13) – debuting their new EP ‘4 Track Mind’, in full.

The songs they performed from their mini-album, which was released earlier this week (February 10), included new single, ‘Hard To Say No’, ‘I Don’t Want To Know’, ‘So They Say’ and ‘Still Gonna Drive You Home’.

The Irish four-piece played a mammoth set at Shepherd’s Bush Empire, which also saw them premiere covers of The Specials‘ ‘Concrete Jungle’ and the Ramones‘ ‘Rockaway Beach’.

Towards the end of their set, during ‘Got Love If You Want It’, singer Ross Farelly took over guitar duties while axeman Josh McClorey picked up the bass from Pete O’Hanlon, who wigged out for the whole song on the harmonica.
