The Vaccines reveal ‘English Graffiti’ album tracklisting and artwork

Band's third album will be released on May 25

The Vaccines have confirmed details of their new album ‘English Graffiti’. Check out the album artwork above.

The album will be released on May 25 and is preceded by the release of new single, ‘Dream Lover’, on May 18. The album was recorded at Dave Fridmann’s (Flaming Lips, Tame Impala, MGMT) Tarbox Road Studio in 2014 and is produced by The Vaccines, Fridmann and Cole MGN (Ariel Pink, Beck, Nite Jewel).

Speaking to NME in a video interview which you can watch below, frontman Justin Young revealed that the band’s third LP “sounds more like a rock record than an indie record – which was one of the big aims… I think it’s an ambitious record as well”. He also says the album is “quite eclectic sounding in terms of song style”.

The band also said that they’ve been more adventurous with their new album and intend for the record to be so “genre-defining” that it will “sound terrible in 10 years”.

Alongside single ‘Handsome’ and the track ‘Dream Lover’, the band have described ‘Want You So Bad’ as “a really pretty love song.”

The ‘English Graffiti’ tracklisting is as follows:

‘Handsome’
‘Dream Lover’
‘Minimal Affection’
’20/20′
‘(All Afternoon) In Love’
‘Denial’
‘Want You So Bad’
‘Radio Bikini’
‘Maybe I Could Hold You’
‘Give Me A Sign’
‘Undercover’

The Vaccines begin a tour of intimate UK venues later this month. A full arena tour is expected to be announced soon. See below for ticket details and venues.
