Could it be Arctic Monkeys?
‘The Velvet Underground & Nico’ has been voted the greatest debut album of all time.
Originally released in 1967, The Velvet Underground‘s debut narrowly beat Television’s ‘Marquee Moon’ and The Jimi Hendrix Experience’s ‘Are You Experienced’ to claim the top spot in Uncut’s list of the greatest debut albums of all time.
This month’s Uncut presents the top 100 compiled by the magazine.
The most recent album in the list, Arctic Monkeys’ ‘Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not’, is at number 36.
