The gig will come just over a week after The Verve closed V Festival 2008 with a headline show. Richard Ashcroft recently declared that he would continue his solo work despite his band reforming. The Verve headlined the T In The Park festival last month (July 11) and the Glastonbury festival on June 29. Supergrass, Black Kids and Young Knives are among the other acts set to perform at the festival.
