Band will reach the UK in time for ATP appearence with Pavement
The Walkmen have been forced to pull their slot at Brighton‘s Great Escape festival tonight (May 13).
The band were due to play the Concorde 2 this evening, but have not arrived into the UK in time due to a flight delay.
The band were apparently held on the runway ahead of their scheduled departure before the flight was cancelled.
However the New York-based band expect to travel today, and will play their slot at the All Tomorrow’s Parties festival in Minehead on Friday (May 14), which is being curated by Pavement.
Meanwhile NME is staging a series of live events during the festival, including an appearence from The Cribs.
