Contraceptives featuring tour logos and 'Kiss Land' album artwork will be distributed at various venues on singer's autumn tour
The Weeknd is to give away his own customised condoms at upcoming tour dates.
The R&B singer – real name Abel Tesfaye – has teamed up with US brand ONE Condoms to produce a range of official The Weeknd contraceptives featuring tour logos and artwork from his new album ‘Kiss Land’. They will be distributed at various venues on his autumn tour.
ONE’s CEO Davin Wedel said in a press release: “With performances known for sexy mood and vibe, The Weeknd embodies the hip, edgy, artistic character of our customers. His music evokes a passion and intimacy that perfectly complement the sensuality of ONE products.”
‘Kiss Land’ came out on September 9 and is the Canadian R&B singer’s first album to be released officially, following three mixtapes which were distributed for free online before being packaged as the ‘Trilogy’ release in 2012.
The ‘Kiss Land’ tour kicked off in the US earlier this month (September) and will arrive in the UK this November for a run of four dates culminating in a huge show at London’s O2 Arena on November 26.
