Electro Mancs' new effort will be released in the autumn

The Whip have confirmed details of their second album.

The Manchester electro rockers will release ‘Wired Together’, the follow-up to ‘X Marks Destination’, on September 19.

After an extensive run of worldwide tour and festival dates, the band have spent the past 18 months working on the new record. It was recorded over the past six months in London with producer Jagz Kooner. The album is available to pre-order from the band’s website TheWhipBand.com. Those who pre-order the album will immediately receive a five-track download to whet their appetites for the full album.

The Whip make their live return at the Wireless festival in London‘s Hyde Park on July 2. They are also confirmed to support The Music on their farewell dates at London O2 Brixton Academy on August 4 and Leeds Academy on August 5-6. Headline dates are expected to be announced shortly.
