MORE FILTH FROM THE WHITE STRIPES

And the band are looking good to play Glastonbury...

White Stripes’ new single will be ‘DEAD LEAVES AND THE DIRTY GROUND’, NME.COM can announce.

The track will be the third to be lifted from their current album ‘White Blood Cells’. Although a release date is currently unconfirmed, NME.COM understands that a September release is likely.

The video is rumoured to be directed by Michel Gondry, who worked on the ‘Fell In Love With A Girl’ promo clip, as well as other artists including Bjork and Radiohead‘s ‘Knives Out’.
