The single features on their forthcoming new album 'Glitterbug'

After premiering ‘Greek Tragedy’, their first single of 2015, The Wombats have now shared the song’s accompanying video.

So as far as I’m concerned it’s the best video ever made – until the one when we all kill each other. I’m hoping that will be the next single.”

The song features on the group’s new album ‘Glitterbug’, which is set for release on April 6. The follow up to 2011’s ‘This Modern Glitch’ has been produced by Mark Crew (Bastille) and the band themselves – frontman Matthew ‘Murph’ Murphy, bassist Tord Øverland Knudsen and drummer Dan Haggis.

‘Glitterbug’ also features the song ‘Your Body Is A Weapon’, which was originally released as a free download for fans in October 2013. Other songs set to be included on the album include ‘Give Me A Try’, ‘Emoticons’, ‘Be Your Shadow’ and ‘This Is Not A Party’.

The band will tour in support of the album in April as well as playing a pair of intimate, sold out shows this week, starting tonight (January 15) at London’s Old Blue Last with a homecoming show at Liverpool Magnet tomorrow (January 16).
