ZUTONS RETURN AFTER PAYNE-FUL TIME!

The Scousers reschedule their recently axed tour dates...

The Zutons have rescheduled the tour dates cancelled after drummer SEAN PAYNE broke his fingers last week (May 6).

As previously reported on NME.COM, Payne was taken to hospital after a flight case was dropped on his hand at the band’s sold out gig in Portsmouth.

The Liverpool five-piece are pleased to announce that the gigs have now been rearranged for June, and that Payne’s hand is expected to have healed by then. The dates will coincide with the release of the new single ’Remember Me’ on June 21.

The band are to embark on a short tour of Japan with Bandwagon mates The Bandits at the end of the month, with ex-Stairs drummer Paul Maguire filling in for Payne.

Rescheduled dates are:

Portsmouth Wedgewood Rooms (June 21)

London ULU (22)

Original tickets are valid for the gig, and refunds will be given to those who cannot attend the new dates.
