One of the band is too poorly to play - but they are soldiering on...
The Zutons are being forced to play a tour of Ireland without ABI HARDING, who has been advised by doctors not to travel.
The shows are due to start tomorrow in Dublin (December 11), but because the dates have already been rescheduled once the rest of the group will press on without her.
Singer Dave McCabe said: “We are so excited to be playing these shows in Ireland and when we heard the news about Abi we decided that, rather than let our fans down, we would still do the shows. We hope our fans understand it’s not the ideal situation, but we promise we will do our best.”
Harding has been diagnosed with severe sinusitis.
A spokesperson for the band claimed: “She has been warned if she does not rest for the next four or five days she will do irreparable damage to her health.”
The promoter will offer a refund for ticket holders who choose not to attend.
The dates are:Dublin Ambassador (December 11)
Derry Nerve Centre (12)
Belfast The Spring & Airbrake (13)
