Albums and singles released in the UK today

Kasabian‘s third album ‘West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum’ is released today (June 8).

The Leicester band are up against Little Boots‘ debut, ‘Hands’, as well as new albums by Sonic Youth, Wavves and Placebo. Neil Young‘s first ‘Archives’ instalment also goes on sale.

In the singles chart, former Pipettes singer Rose Elinor Dougall unleashes ‘Start/Stop/Synchro’, while Pixie Lott releases ‘Mama Do’.
