Atoms For Peace surprise the audience at their show in California

Thom Yorke and his band Atoms For Peace surprised their audience last night (April 15), with a cover of Joy Division‘s ‘Love Will Tear Us Apart’, and you can see a video of it by scrolling down.

Performing at the Oakland Fox Theatre in California, the group, which is made up of Red Hot Chili Peppers‘ bassist Flea, producer Nigel Godrich, Joey Waronker and Mauro Refosco, played the 1980 classic to a sold-out crowd.

Beginning their US tour earlier this month in New York, the supergroup are set to finish the jaunt with an appearance at Coachella Festival on Sunday (April 18).
