Analyst Meltwater has tested the online waters
Tinie Tempah, Mumford and Sons, Take That and Cheryl Cole are the public’s favourites to win Brit Awards tonight (February 15) – according to figures from one online analyst.
Chiefs at media monitoring company Meltwater have conducted research to find out which nominated acts were being namechecked most in online conversations in the past week.

According to Meltwater Tinie Tempah is generating most buzz in the British Male Solo Artist category. Cheryl Cole leads the way in online buzz for the British Female Solo Artist category.
Mumford and Sons and Take That are both enjoying a similar amount of buzz in the British Group category. The London folk-pop act are also leading the way in the British Breakthrough Act stakes.
Most major bookies aren’t taking bets for the awards now. However, Betfair.com has published the last odds.
Their numbers contrast with the public buzz report in the British Male Solo Artist category – where they have Plan B as favourite with odds at 1.37. They have Take That as British Group favourites with odds of 1.18.
