Tinie Tempah wraps up Teenage Cancer Trust gigs at Royal Albert Hall

Beady Eye and Roger Daltrey had also played TCT shows in London

Tinie Tempah brought the 2011 Teenage Cancer Trust gig series to a close last night (March 27) at London‘s Royal Albert Hall.

Jessie J and Maverick Sabre played support slots – the former being joined by Devlin during her performance for a guest rap.

Beady Eye and curator Roger Daltrey were among the acts who had played shows for the charity in the same venue earlier in the week.

Last night Tinie performed with a full string section and played hits including ‘Pass Out’ and ‘Frisky’. He also covered Taio Cruz‘s ‘Dynamite’, Far East Movement‘s ‘Like a G6’ and Willow Smith‘s ‘Whip My Hair’.

He namechecked James Blake and Jamie Woon during the show, declaring that “this is the best British music has ever been”.

Founded in 1997, the Teenage Cancer Trust funds and builds units especially for teenagers and young adults in NHS hospitals. It also provides support services and education related to teen cancer. Since 2010 there has been a series of concerts in the Royal Albert Hall in aid of the charity.
