Gigs will be part of Forest Live series
The programme, which sees the Ivor Novello award winner perform in seven woodland venues across England, is organised by the Forestry Commission and aims to bring forests to new audiences. Money from the shows will go toward protecting, improving and expanding England’s forests and woodlands.
“This will be a whole new experience for me,” Odell said. “I can’t wait to bring my live show to the woods and I hope to see you there.” Tickets for the shows will on on sale at 9am on Friday 19 December.
Last month, Tom Odell covered John Lennon’s track ‘Real Love’ for this year’s John Lewis Christmas advert. The singer-songwriter released his debut album ‘Long Way Down’ last year. The LP subsequently entered the Official UK Album chart at Number One and knocked Kanye West’s ‘Yeezus’ off the top spot.

Bedgebury Pinetum, Tunbridge Wells (June 19)
Westonbirt Arboretum, Tetbury (June 20)
Dalby Forest, Pickering (June 25)
