Donny Tourette plays ‘freedom gig’

Towers Of London stage post 'Big Brother' show

Towers Of London’s first gig since singer Donny Tourette’s exit from the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house saw extreme behaviour from both the band and crowd.

The show at London’s 100 Club tonight (January 10), dubbed the “freedom gig”, saw the band in a typically raucous mood.

Arriving on stage to the sound of a 1940s air raid siren, Towers Of London launched straight into forthcoming single ‘I’m A Rat’, with Donny playing up to the many photographers present, climbing on amps and stagediving.

The audience were no less reserved, with three roadies needed to keep fans from invading the stage.

The biggest cheers of the night were reserved for singles ‘Air Guitar’ and ‘Fuck It Up’, and a cover version of Lynyrd Skynyrd’s ‘Free Bird’.

Donny Tourette made no mention of ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ throughout the gig, however, which was watched by members of the The View and Peaches Geldof.
