TRAVIS premiered material from their forthcoming album ‘THE INVISIBLE BAND’ at a school fete in LONDON over the weekend.

The band played a 30-minute acoustic set at Weston Park Primary School, north London on Saturday afternoon (May 12), at the request of singer Fran Healy’s neighbours, who have a child at the school.

Tickets cost £1, and the event was attend by 150 people, mainly parents of the schoolchildren.

According to The Sun newspaper, the band performed stripped-down versions of forthcoming single ‘Sing’, due for release on May 28, as well as ‘The Invisible Band’ album track ‘Flowers In The Window’.

Travis also performed songs from last album ‘The Man Who’, including the classic singles ‘Driftwood’, ‘Turn’ and ‘Why Does It Always Rain On Me?’. The Scots rockers closed their set with their cover of Britney Spears‘ ‘…Baby One More Time’.

‘The Invisible Band’ is released on June 11.
