EMINEM, MARILYN MANSON, TRAVIS and GREEN DAY have been confirmed as main headliners for GIG ON THE GREEN in GLASGOW on August 25 and 26.

The second annual two-day rockfest on Glasgow Green, close to the city centre, will feature over 60 artists on four stages.

It will be one of only three European dates this summer for Eminem, who headlines the main stage on August 25. He is joined by long-time friend Manson, and Queens Of The Stone Age.

Travis close the festival in their hometown with a headline slot on Sunday (August 26), joined on the main stage by Green Day.

The Budweiser True Music stage on the Saturday is headlined by Embrace, with Mercury Rev and Hobotalk, with Scots stars Idlewild headlining on the Sunday, joined by Evan Dando.

Details of the Colours-scripted Smirnoff experience dance tent are yet to be released. And the site will encompass a massage parlour, beach-bar and an inflatable volleyball court.

Tickets are priced £35 (plus booking fee) per day, or £55 (plus booking fee) for an “early-bird” weekend ticket, which rises by £10 next time.
