Band are set to release new album 'Wish To Scream' in May
Tribes have announced details of a UK tour to support their forthcoming new album ‘Wish To Scream’.
The band will play a series of dates across the UK in April and May, off the back of their NME Awards Show date in London on February 6.
Last week, Tribes unveiled the first track to be taken from their new album, ‘How The Other Half Live’. The song will feature on the London’s band’s second album ‘Wish To Scream’, which is released on May 20. The LP, which is the follow-up to their 2012 debut ‘Baby’, was recorded last year at the legendary Sound City studios in Van Nuys, California, which is the subject of Dave Grohl’s newly released Sound City documentary.
Speaking about working in the same room where Nirvana‘s ‘Nevermind’, Rage Against The Machine’s self-titled debut and Fleetwood Mac‘s ‘Rumours’ were recorded, singer Johnny Lloyd said: “It’s an incredible studio. Its got lots of history and it really seeped into the music and the writing.”
Meanwhile, Lloyd has written a novella titled A Journey Through The Heart Of A Pig. The book is limited to 1,000 copies and comes with illustrations by Hayden Kays.
