Tulisa suffers nosebleed in court on first day of drugs trial

The N-Dubz singer is alleged to have brokered a cocaine deal

Singer and television personality Tulisa Contostavlos suffered a nose bleed while in court earlier today (July 14).

Tulisa Contostavlos was arrested following tabloid newspaper reports that claimed she was involved in an £860 cocaine deal to an undercover tabloid journalist. Appearing at Southwark Crown Court this morning on charges of allegedly brokering the drugs deal, she was led out of the courtroom by an officer who then explained that she had a nosebleed, reports The Mirror. Contostavlos pleaded not guilty at a previous hearing and today spoke only to confirm her name and again plead not guilty to the charges.

The singer’s co-defendant Michael Coombs had also previously pleaded not guilty, but earlier today Coombs admitted the charge. Coombs is also known under the rap pseudonym Mike GLC and has been bailed, reports BBC News. He will be sentenced at the end of Contostavlos’ trial.
