TV On The Radio joined onstage by Noisettes in London

US indie heroes get some help at one-off date

TV On The Radio were joined onstage by support band Noisettes last night (July 13) during their one-off date at London‘s 02 Academy Brixton.

The groups combined during a version of TV On The Radio‘s ‘A Method’, with all Noisettes members coming on to join in on percussion on the track, which appears on the band’s 2006 album ‘Return To Cookie Mountain’.

The band weren’t the only guests, as TV On The Radio were also joined onstage by saxophonist Martin Perna, as they were during their T In The Park performance a day earlier (July 12).

The majority of the set was taken from the Brooklyn-based outfit’s most recent album, ‘Dear Science’, including the singles ‘Golden Age’ and ‘Crying’.

The biggest cheers of the night from the sold-out crowd were reserved for fan favourites ‘Wolf Like Me’ and 2004 single ‘Staring At the Sun’, which closed the set.

TV On The Radio played:

‘Love Dog’
‘The Wrong Way’
‘Golden Age’
‘Halfway Home’
‘Wolf Like Me’
‘Shout Me Out’
‘Dancing Choose’
‘Red Dress’
‘Family Tree’
‘A Method’
‘Staring At The Sun’
