Irish band among the first acts set to perform at this year's three-day bash
The annual free music event is set to be held in Londonderry, Northern Ireland over the weekend of May 24-26. Olly Murs has also been announced to perform. Headline artists and a full line-up will be confirmed in the coming months.
The event was last held in Londonderry back in 2004. It will visit the city again this year as it celebrates its status as UK City Of Culture for 2013. Last year, it was staged at London’s Hackney Marshes to mark the opening of the Olympic Park. Jay-Z headlined the event, which also included performances from Jack White, Lana Del Rey, Bombay Bicycle Club and Florence And The Machine. Ticket details will be announced in the coming months.
